Tuesdays With Dorie – Creamy Dark Chocolate Sorbet

I had some fears when I put this in the freezer. It never quite came together in the ice cream maker, and I was afraid that I was going to come back to a brown ice cube in the morning. However, this scooped perfectly and the consistency was perfect.

There are certain ice cream-type treats that you can eat on their own, but this is not one of them. Way, way, way too chocolatey. Gonna have to eat it with something that will cut the sweetness, like a slice of white bread or a celery stalk.

  2. totally agree about the consistency…it was perfect! but i’m in the other camp on the sweetness…i could eat this one alllll day.
