Tuesdays With Dorie – Devilish Shortcakes, Thanksgiving, Etc.

I made the Devilish Shortcakes tonight. They are supposed to have whipped cream and fruit in them, but they also are supposed to not be burnt to a crisp on the bottom! We all have to make sacrifices.

Here is some food from Thanksgiving.

Here is a new kind of Marshmallow Peep. I almost thought we’d make it out of the holiday without a new kind! These are sugar-free peppermint stars. They have the consistency of a sponge and the flavor of bad toothpaste. Every ingredient on the back of the package looks like the name of an industrial grade detergent.

Here is my redo of Dorie’s caramel pumpkin pie. This went over pretty well.

Here is the most complete shot of 100+ World Peace Cookies, as part of an annual Christmas Cookie Exchange. The doodie logs are all in my freezer right now, as a death in the family kept me from going to the party.

That’s it. Shhh.
